01

The workshops

Each one is the condensed version of something I built for production.

  • 01

    Build a RAG app

Chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, re-ranking and citations, on the participants' own documents. Ends with a deployed chat that declines when it should.

  • 02

    Fine-tune a small LLM

LoRA and QLoRA with Transformers, PEFT and TRL on a free GPU, with a base-versus-tuned comparison so the result is judged, not assumed.

  • 03

Ship an AI feature end to end

FastAPI, Next.js, a vector store, Docker and a deploy, with logging and a fallback provider. The workshop version of how I shipped five apps.

  • 04

    Hackathon sprint clinic

Scoping, judging criteria, a demo that lands, and the mistakes that cost teams the prize. Run before a fest's hackathon.

02

How a day runs

Built so that nobody is left watching.

  1. 01

Set up and a short map

Thirty minutes: environment running, the system drawn on the board, the goal for the day stated.

  2. 02

    Build in blocks

Each block is a working checkpoint. Participants who finish early get the next challenge, not a wait.

  3. 03

    Ship and show

The last hour deploys what was built and lets teams demo. The code stays with them.

03

Travel, stay and fees

Stated plainly, so a request can be made with confidence.

For campus sessions the inviting institution covers the visit end to end: travel (a First AC train ticket up to five hours, a flight beyond that), stay, meals, and pickup and drop. The honorarium and any workshop fee are agreed on WhatsApp or on the call.

Full details on the invite page and in the FAQ.
